Market Day at Sutherland Hospital

Some styles in the retro resin brooches are still available. Meanwhile the SuperTramp LP bag has sold (one young guy thought she was Susan Boyle!!) Got a lot of mileage out of that story!

This bag is one of my best sellers; it comes in a fabulous lime/orange/navy combo & lilac/beige combo. Selling out fast!
An assortment of scarves, ranging from $10 to $30. Soft muslin to lambswool.
Elvis has left the table (he sold straight away!) but I still have some resin necklaces in various colours and a crystal necklace left.
Here's a lovely selection of accessories I had for sale at the recent fundraiser at Sutherland Hospital. The markets are held once a month & the staff, visitors & patients love to come & shop. Check my web-site for various hospital markets that I attend. http://www.recycology.vpweb.com.au/

Henty Field Days Fashion Parades

Here are some of my gorgeous garments that will feature in the fashion parades at Henty this week.
20/21 & 22 Sept,     parades are 3 times a day in the Lifestyle Pavillion.
FYI Henty is a huge event out in the bush (and I mean THE BUSH!!) between Wagga Wagga and Albury. People come in the 1,000's, some even in light aircraft! (As there is a grass air strip next door, purpose built!)
This will be my 4th time selling at Henty, as I love the country charm, the folk and just getting away from the "big smoke" of Sydney and seeing my stock strutting the catwalk, modelled by the local girls from Billabong High (great name)
Students from the Tafe apply the makeup and style the hair, so it's a combined effort by all and so professionally presented.      Looking forward to the CWA scones too of course; forget Masterchef!!    Henty Field Days Fashion Parades     www/hmfd.com/    for 2012 details

50s Fair at Wahroonga

I had a lovely browse around the Rose Seilder Historic House on Sunday. Every year 1000's of people descend on (and to) the property to admire the Harry Seilder architecture, but more so for the fabulous array of 1950's stalls scattered around the bushy grounds. Loved looking at all the vintage clothes, bric a brac, furniture and cars. The cars were outstanding! There was even an outdoor barber-shop; 2 chairs busy with customers. I decided to dress for the occassion and donned a gray shot silk 50's dress, with black full net petti peeping out. Upswept hair, resin necklace. I blended into the look of the day, fun!
I'm looking into having a stall there next year (usually we are skiing!) as I do really well at The Vintage Fair twice a year at Canterbury Race Course. More on that later!
